Health care is complicated. Today we are announcing the launch of a new blog – Capitol Vitals – to help our clients make the tough decisions they confront every day in this complicated world.
Our goal is simple: to provide our audience with information and original perspective on the latest trends in health policy and politics.
America’s Poet Laureate, Bruce Springsteen, has said “Getting an audience is hard. Sustaining an audience is hard. It demands a consistency of thought, of purpose, and of action over a long period of time.”
We couldn’t resist the temptation of launching Capitol Vitals with a quote from the Boss. We think he nails the challenge confronting us as we begin our health care blog, but also captures our commitment to putting in the time and effort to ensure its success and value proposition for the executives we serve.
One of us has just started doing the workout routine P90X – we’ll let you guess who – but its creator, Tony Horton, has a terrific saying, “Do your best and forget the rest.” We’re going to let this slogan guide us as we endeavor to bring you news and insights once a week, every Tuesday, from each member of WSW’s impressive health policy team.
As our Managing Partner, Donna Mullins, always reminds us, “All knowledge and wisdom does not reside in Washington, DC.” So we are also going to be soliciting your feedback, knowledge and participation in the blog in an ongoing manner.

We hope you enjoy Capitol Vitals and that you find its articles thought-provoking and entertaining. Ultimately, we want the insights presented here to allow you to draw your own conclusions and to stay ahead of the intelligence curve regarding the consequential issues impacting your business or organization. Thank you for your consideration.
